The University and the Doctoral College offers a range of support to Postgraduate Researchers. Below you can find information on the services available to you throughout your research degree. Careers Support

Our dedicated  careers support and resources for PGRs are vital in helping you throughout your degree as well as planning for beyond.

Feedback

Your feedback is important to us and helps to shape the PGR experience. There are several ways you can give feedback including through PRES, AMR and PGR LFs

Fees and Funding

There are several funding options in place to help support your research while at the University of Exeter. 

We are excited to introduce the expanded Funding Finder App, which helps you quickly identify relevant funding opportunities for your research at the University of Exeter.

Finance Help

For any help with T1 or finance please contact the Finance helpdesk. Training and help for PGRs on T1 can be accessed here.

Guild - The SU

For those based on either Streatham or St Luke's the Guild is here to represent you, while those based in Penryn or Truro have the SU

Health and Wellbeing

There is a wide range of Health and Wellbeing support available to you as a PGR throughout your research degree. 

International Support

The International student support team provides advice to all international PGRs. We also have a dedicated PGR  international student support webpage.

iTrent

iTrent is a tool that allows PGR students to record holiday, sickness and other absence.   

IT Support

There is a wide range of IT Support available to PGRs at the University of Exeter. Please contact the IT Helpdesk for general IT enquiries and visit the Digital Hub for expert advice on our digital tools.

Postgraduate Teaching Associates (PTA)

HR are able to give advice and guidance on Postgraduate Teaching Associates (PTAs) employment.

Research Culture
