In a time of unprecedented environmental and societal change, the ESI aims to create a vibrant and collaborative place where researchers can discuss and advance research that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries and offers new insights into and solutions to the many challenges that face society.
Our work spans many areas and is constantly evolving, but is broadly organised into four themes: understanding environmental change, conserving and regenerating nature, informing sustainability policy and practice, and powering the future.
