Fellowship applications with the LSI - Expressions of interest

Externally Funded Group Leader Fellowships

LSI aims to sponsor outstanding candidates for externally funded Fellowships across our broad remit of interdisciplinary research. The Institute will issue an annual call for expressions of interest (see below). Selected candidates will then be invited to visit LSI to present and discuss their research.

Expressions of interest should include:

• Current Position (Research Group, Institution, Department, Country)
• When were you awarded your PhD?
• Which Fellowship scheme are you planning to apply for?
• Short (1-2 page) summary of your proposed research programme
• Why is your proposed research best performed in the LSI and how does it fit in with the Institute’s research approaches?
• Brief summary of your research achievements to date
• Full publication list
• CV (maximum 2 pages)

Postdoctoral Research Associate/Fellow in Bioinformatics S73184

A full-time post for a Postdoctoral Research Associate/Fellow in Bioinformatics to undertake comparative bioinformatic analyses to decipher the regulatory networks of pluripotency in humans and other mammals. The post will be in the research group of Professor Austin Smith and is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2024.
