Organisational Development

We support inclusion, staff wellbeing and development activity across the University working with colleges and services on some key corporate projects including Athena SWAN, Employee Engagement Survey and Training and Development

The Service consists of three inter-related professional teams:

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Wellbeing  – responsible for the University’s Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Staff Wellbeing activity. We seek to promote an environment where everyone, no matter where they are from, can thrive. We support key institutional initiatives like the Provost commission and Positive Working Environment.

People Development – responsible for delivering a broad portfolio of courses, one-to-one support, mandatory training and promoting leadership development. We support a number of key corporate projects, including Exeter Academic.

Occupational Health – Our aim is to encourage and support an environment within the University which helps staff fulfil their potential, irrespective of disability and ill health.  Our work is to prevent work-related illness and injury and to assist staff to return to work after sickness absence.
