‘This award aided the development of my employability skills as well as the fact that it gave me the chance to meet fellow students completing the award. After weeks of putting it off, I realised that my most feared section of the award (The Interview Experience) was thoroughly enjoyable, and I believe it will be very beneficial in my future endeavours.’ 

‘Learning about interview and job application writing techniques had a positive impact on my career hunt. Without the Exeter Award, I may have struggled to put into words why I wanted the role and how I would fit into it. The Award not only teaches the methods, but how to put them into practice. After Exeter Award, I went on to do the Exeter Leaders Award, and it was a greatly beneficial experience to hear from other young people that were already leaders in their community.’
