AccessAbility Quick Query Appointments
AccessAbility advisors offer daily quick query appointments for students. These will take place between 1-3pm, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and last 20mins.
Quick Query appointments can take place in person at the Forum or can be offered online via Microsoft Teams.
What can quick query appointments be used for?
Quick queries that could be discussed include:
- Questions about what support AccessAbility services offer;
- Advice on applying for Disabled Students Allowance;
- Questions about what medical evidence is required;
- Advice about arranging study skills and/or mentoring support;
- Questions about disclosing a disability or health condition.
Who is a quick query appointment for?
Any current student at University of Exeter can make a quick query appointment. As these are short, 20 minute appointments, we ask that these are not booked for creating Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), including arrangements for exam adjustments; instead students should book into a full AccessAbility appointment.
How do I book?
Quick query appointments are bookable on the day. You can book into an appointment by calling 01392 723880 and speaking to a member of the team. Please be aware we have limited quick query appointments daily. If we are unable to offer you an appointment, you may prefer to email our team on Accessability@Exeter.ac.uk or book into an advisor appointment. Please remember we also have the Wellbeing Service ‘live chat’ running Monday-Friday 2-4pm, (accessible on each of our webpages) where you can ask a member of the team a quick question about AccessAbility support, too.
