Medicine
(Cornwall based)
This strand will provide Scholars with opportunities to engage in practical and academic sessions that mimic the range of teaching delivery styles on our BMBS programme. The sessions should also provide useful academic content for Scholars’ A-Level or equivalent related study (e.g. Biology).
Scholars will connect with current medical students, clinicians, and academics and have ample opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insight into a range of specialities. By joining a community of fellow scholars with an interest in medicine you will create your own support network to help you navigate the application process and beyond.
Please note the intended learning outcomes and methods of delivery are comparable across the Cornwall and Devon Medical Scholar strands. Five out the six sessions will be delivered at Medical School learning environments in your allocated locality.
