Re-assessment notes

Deferral – if you miss an assessment for reasons judged legitimate by the Mitigation Committee, the applicable assessment will normally be deferred. When deferral occurs there is ordinarily no change to the overall weighting of that assessment.

Referral – if you have failed the module overall (i.e. a final overall mark of less than 40%), re-assessment will be through an individual business pitch with question-and-answer session to include some reflection on student’s development of their entrepreneurial skills. Student will be informed of areas requiring review, rewrite and presentation improvement needs. If only one area (report or presentation) requires revision the re-assessment will take this into account.
