NVivo is a powerful and intuitive qualitative data analysis software for gaining richer insights from diverse data. This workshop is aimed at those who have no experience of Nvivo and little-to-no experience of computer coding.

Abstract

The workshop will provide a practical, hands-on introduction to some of the features of the Nvivo software, and cover the main operations and functions a user will need to conduct analysis in NVivo including:

What is NVivo
NVivo terms
Qualitative Data
Explore basic and intermediate menu options in NVivo software for data management.
To produce queries, and word clouds that help to analyse qualitative data.

No experience necessary. The workshop will be conducted through a series of practical, hands-on exercises to familiarise you with some of the basic functions in NVivo.

About the workshop leader: Dr Janice Hoang completed her PhD in 2021 in Medical Education at the University of Exeter’s Graduate School of Education.
