Brace: A website signposting support for foster care parents

This group identified that there was a significant gap in the support available for foster child carers, and wanted to raise awareness around the mental health difficulties prevalent within this under-represented population.

They therefore created this website to provide guidance around dealing with issues associated with foster child caring, as well as signposting to specialist support services available to them. In addition, their website also provides information about how to identify signs of mental illness which their foster child, if present.
