To relay essential concepts relating to geographical information systems such that candidates can use GIS software independently, efficiently and meaningfully in support of resource assessment and site identification studies for renewable energy projects.

Candidates are taken through a short, step-by-step case study exercise using ArcInfo to provide familiarity with the functionality of this software only.
