DESCRIPTION - summary of the module content
This module will see you undertaking and completing a significant and defined piece of work that has a real business application and benefit. It allows you to put into practice your research, project management and engineering skills acquired in the course and within your workplace to a challenge along one of the following lines. (i) Scope and recommendations for a new mine (ii) An extension to an existing mine or (iii) an optimisation of a mining operation that requires a full re-appraisal of all reserve and resource data.
