Event details
"The industrial application of Biomining Technologies is described as a ‘niche technology’, but is it an important one, allowing commercially viable recovery of base and precious metals from sulfide ores at lower grades and generally at lower capital cost than alternatives, and typically with a reduced environmental footprint. This talk will share my personal experience in research and development, and industrial applications of biomining technologies on 3 continents, over the past 40 years."
