Bookings for this event have now closed, however, if you would still like to attend please register your interest to be added to the waiting list.
We will be led by the University Grounds Team’s Head Arborist, Alex Adams, who will share with us his extensive knowledge of, and love for, the myriad of trees on our beautiful Streatham campus. You will hear about the many Champion Trees which grace the grounds (Champion Trees are awarded the ‘honour’ due to their enormous size, great age, rarity or historical significance). Did you know that the campus is home to walnut trees, bitter lemon trees, a California Nutmeg tree, tulip trees, and two Plant Heritage National Collections? Do come along and share Alex’s infectious enthusiasm for our stunning campus!
After the tour we will gather back at Reed Hall where you can enjoy a complimentary drink and the opportunity to chat further with Alex (the bar at Reed Hall will also be open for guests to purchase drinks after the initial complimentary offering).
