Abstract

Registration to attend the first CRISPR-Cas9 Targeted Genome Editing Workshop is now open. The workshop will run on the 4th of July from 12:00 -3:30 at the Wonford Lecture Theatre, RILD Building with limited spaces available for video link to Xfi Conference Room 2. The workshop will feature talks by three researchers using CRISPR-Cas9 technology routinely in their research. Dr Emily Sauderson from Barts Cancer Institute will be discussing the use of CRISPR-Cas9 to cause targeted epigenetic changes, Dr Akshay Bhinge will be discussing CRISPR-Cas9 in iPSC models, and Dr Asami Oguro-Ando will be discussing the creation of mouse lines using CRISPR-Cas9. A Q&A will follow each presenter as well as a general discussion at the end of the day. Refreshments of tea, coffee, cake and fruit will be provided.
