SDG Teach In

The ‘SDG Teach In’ campaign is back!
The ‘SDG Teach In’ is running from the 1st to 31st of March 2026, and we look forward to raising student and staff engagement with the Sustainable Development Goals through this campaign again!
This annual campaign run by SOS (Students Organising for Sustainability) aims to put the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the heart of education across all disciplines. It calls upon educators to pledge to include one or more of the SDGs within their educational and training activities taking place in March.
In 2025, Exeter came 2nd in number of learners reached, and 5th in educators who pledged amongst all participating institutions. Let's build on that momentum and continue to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to create a greener, healthier, fairer future in 2026!
If you are involved in teaching or training activities in March, consider how they relate to any of the SDGs and sign up to the campaign via this form. This includes educational activities outside the formal curriculum, events and workshops, or staff training.
SOS-UK's website includes resources and examples to help you to include SDGs. You can also sign up to an Introduction Webinar on the 28th January to learn more about the campaign here.
About the Sustainable Development Goals:
The SDGs or Sustainable Development Goals are part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by UN member states in 2015. They recognize the interconnectedness of social, environmental and economic issues, and that environmental solutions must go hand-in-hand with strategies to improve health, education, infrastructure and reduce inequality.
