There is the opportunity for you to discuss terrorism issues with General (Retd) Sir Paul Newton, Director of the Strategy and Security Institute. The topic for discussion will be ‘Talking to Terrorists’ - please see attached poster.
The small group sessions will provide an opportunity for academic and personal development and will promote a range of intellectual, interactive and transferable skills.
There are limited places available to meet with Sir Paul Newton in these small group interactive sessions. Anyone interested in the event should explain, in no more than 100 words, why s/he would like to attend. There are spaces for up to 30 students to attend one of the two available sessions, so please reply promptly to reserve your place. You can specify the date of the session that you would prefer to attend.
