Overview

I am a researcher, conservationist and Exeter Alumni with experience in the conservation research and charity sector. My research interests focus around human and wildlife interactions, specifically species which are often overlooked or portrayed negatively in media. I am currently working with Professor Kevin Gaston, exploring the effects of artificial light at night (ALAN) on bats, moths and hedgehogs.

Qualifications

MSci (Hons) Zoology – University of Exeter

Career

I have worked with the Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) on the National Bat Helpline and National Bat Monitoring Programme (NBMP), as well as their Built Environment project.

Additionally, I was a former Admin & Communications Officer for Bats without Borders (BwB), a small NGO carrying out bat conservation work in southern Africa.
