About this course:

This course is open to research staff in the HASS disciplines and will provide an overview of all aspects of research integrity (including good practice and misconduct), research ethics and governance processes.

Learning outcomes:


- Define research integrity and misconduct; - Understand the relevance of research integrity to your research and understand your responsibilities as a researcher; - Know where to find guidance, advice and support on good research practices and misconduct; - Understand when ethical approval should be sought for research and understand the processes necessary to gain that approval; - Have an awareness of relevant legislation and professional guidance and the associated governance processes.

This course is recommended for Research Staff from the HASS disciplines.
