HR Casework
Introduction
We provide confidential advice and support to managers on all aspects of HR casework and work with colleagues in the HR Business Partnering team and the Legal Counsel – Employment, to ensure that casework is progressed in accordance with the University’s policies and procedures.
Our Work
HR Casework is varied and our services range from providing initial advice to managers and HR colleagues when concerns are first identified through to progression of cases from investigation and/or informal stages through the formal stages of University procedures, including hearings and appeals. We provide support and guidance to Investigating Officers and panels within the framework of University policies, procedures and the ACAS code of practice.
Investigating Officers
We are seeking volunteers (grade F and above) to be trained as Investigating Officers to support our formal investigations. Further information can be found here or please contact the HR Casework Manager for more information.
