International Students Day

International Students’ Day is celebrated each year on 17 November to honour the bravery and resilience of students who stood for their rights during World War II. Over time, it has grown into a global tribute, highlighting the diverse experiences, contributions, and unique challenges faced by international students worldwide.
This year we'll be celebrating International Students’ Day at our Intercultural Cafes:
| Friday 14 November, Streatham Campus |
International Students Day Bunting
Help us make some bunting for International Students Day. Design an image to represent your study abroad experience, what you are looking forward to seeing or have seen so far.
|
| Wednesday 19 November, Tremough Campus |
Celebrate International Students’ Day by making a badge representing your language, culture, hobbies or whatever you like.

Food and home are synonymous and we’re delighted to present our Intercultural Recipe Share—a special collection of favourite recipes and the stories behind them, reflecting the flavours of home for many students here at Exeter that were contributed last year. We hope this collection of recipes brings inspiration to your kitchen and a chance to connect with the cultures and traditions behind each dish. Whether you’re exploring a new flavour or recreating a beloved taste from home, may this collection be a reminder of the unity and diversity that International Students’ Day honours.
