Re-assessment notes

Passing LAW1701 is a pre-requisite for progression to LAW2701.

If a student fails to meet this LAW2701 pre-requisite they will be referred in all components and will be required to sit 100% re-assessment in the form of an ‘open book’ written assignment.

Re-assessment will consist of a second opportunity to complete the summative assessment, however the mark will be capped at 40%.

Where a student is deferred for a single component of the summative assessment (A-D) they will be reassessed in that component only.

Those students who fail to meet the pre-requisites for LAW2701 will be transferred back to the three-year degree.
