The American University of Iraq-Baghdad

The Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Exeter has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The American University of Iraq-Baghdad. Both parties have agreed to explore the possibilities of a closer relationship in the following areas:

• Potential collaboration on projects and research, to include jointly-hosted symposia and lectures, and joint research projects
  • This could be in the fields of Medical and Health Sciences, Climate Science, Environment and Sustainability, Social Sciences and Education
• Possible support for curriculum development
• Potential study abroad and exchange programmes for both academic staff and students
• Explore the exchange of academic resources and knowledge on areas such as teaching models for e-learning and distance education
