As part of our summer programmes in 2021, we are delighted to offer students the opportunity to join our world class academic colleagues from the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences in a 2 week online programme that will look at the concept of Sustainability and how STEM can help society work towards this goal. The programme is split into two smaller modules, the first week looking at practical areas of STEM from engineering to sustainable materials, and the second week will focus on Urban Analytics and how we can use different systems to track  our ever expanding urbanisation as focus it on being as sustainable as possible.

Students can join for one or both weeks of the programme and have the chance to learn from keynote speakers who are leaders in their field and work on group projects to learn from other students all over the world and truly gain a global perspective on the issues facing us and the challenge of sustainability.

One of the International Summer School's key features is the chance to experience the UK and meet people from all over the world. We have hosted more than 27 nationalities and every continent from around the world in the last three years which really gives people the chance to learn about their interests from the perspectives of others.
