Event details
Chris Degeling, Associate Professor in the School of Health and Society at the University of Wollongong Australia, will present this hybrid seminar on Wednesday 4 October at 4pm in the Wellcome Centre for Cultures and Environments of Health, Queen’s Building.
His interests lie in the social and political dimensions of disease prevention. In this hybrid seminar, he will talk about his recent study on governing antibiotic risks in beef and dairy farming in Australia arguing that advocacy for greater Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) precaution in agriculture should acknowledge and compensate for erosions in competing common goods and the cost of proposed interventions.
