Annemarie Mol Lecture: Opening up Normativities in a Material World

Acclaimed author Annemarie Mol, Professor of Anthropology of the Body at the University of Amsterdam, is coming to Exeter’s Wellcome Centre for Cultures & Environments of Health (WCCEH) to host a series of events over three days including a lecture, a roundtable with Early Career Researchers and, an interactive discussion on her latest  book.

In her lecture, “Opening Up Normativities in a Material World: the case of clean in Amsterdam”, Professor Mol will ask, since attempts to achieve total cleanliness invariably fail, the question arises how those involved find ways to continue to care?
