Exeter University Club - Exeter Branch, Reunion & Outing 2020
Why not enjoy a friendly short break with other EUC members and stay in a comfortable hotel on the River Thames? We have provisionally booked rooms at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel, OX10 8LZ, which is currently undergoing refurbishment. It will be ready for us when we arrive in June. We will arrange activities in the locality for Monday afternoon and Wednesday. Possible locations may include Henley, Dorchester-on-Thames and Wallingford.

Event details
The major activity is the Annual Outing which this year is to Grey’s Court (NT) near Henley-on-Thames on Tuesday June 2nd. Rolf Holstein is organising the outing. After a day visiting the house and enjoying the gardens we will return to the hotel for an early dinner.
We advise you to book your hotel rooms very soon due to the lovely location and the expected high demand in the summer months. The hotel will hold rooms for us up to the end of February 2020, although if you really want a river view room or a room on the ground floor book as soon as possible.
The bed & breakfast rates are as follows:-
- Standard double room is £85 for double occupancy per night.
- The same with a river view is £105 per night.
- Standard single room is £75 per night
- The same with a river view is £85 per night.
There are rooms on the ground floor of the hotel which have convenient showers for those who need the facility. All rates quoted include a full English breakfast.
We recommend you telephone the hotel on 01865 858567 to book your room, quoting ‘EUC Reunion’. You will then be able to discuss which room will be most suitable for you. The hotel will ask for your debit or credit card details when you book. This will secure the room and you pay your bill when you leave. No charges will be taken at the time of booking. If you have booked but you are unable to come then let the hotel know 3 full days before your arrival date, and you will not be charged.
