Event details
My recently formed group investigates how drugs, in particular pairwise combinations thereof, impact Gram-negative pathogens using systems biology tools. I have previously shown that antibiotic interactions are highly species-specific, and even across strains of the same species the outcome of combinations can considerably change. Our research focuses on understanding species-specificity of drug combinations, with particular interest in elucidating the killing properties of drug combinations across species, vastly unknown to date.
