Exeter alumnae: how to level up your LinkedIn

Exeter’s female graduates are invited to register for this 1 hour mini-masterclass.

Event details

LinkedIn is the world’s largest online professional network, with over 740 million active users. It is an absolutely fantastic tool for professional development, whether you are looking to find a new job, build your network, strengthen your connections, or learn new skills through their learning platform.

Join us on Tuesday 25 May to level up your LinkedIn and find out how we can use LinkedIn more effectively to make the most of the opportunities it presents.

We’ll be joined by fellow Exeter graduate and LinkedIn expert Alastair Banks, who will lead our hour long session and share with us his advice on some key areas including: what is a personal brand, social selling, crafting a cutting edge profile, building your network, and generating conversations.

Alastair Banks (Computer Science, 2000)
Alastair is co-founder of Optix Solutions, which he created whilst studying at Exeter and is now one of the top digital marketing agencies in the UK. Alastair has been teaching LinkedIn to Individuals and Corporates for over 10 years. Over 20,000 people have taken his online courses in the last three years.

This event has been organised by Exe-X: the Alumnae Group, Exeter’s network for female graduates, with support from the University’s Global Advancement team.

Booking: This event is free to attend but you will need to register here. A link to join the online event will be sent to registrants.
