Visiting Cornwall

Come and meet our new Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence, Susannah McClintock.

Event details

The University of Exeter's Innovation, Impact and Business (IIB) team together with the ESI are excited to announce Susannah McClintock as their new Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence. This is a great opportunity for the ESI community to connect with an expert who can show how commercialisation and external engagement can lead to ideas for further research and/ or alternative career paths.

Susannah is a specialist environmental investor with more than 20 years’ experience in start-up growth, finance, and investing within the climate change and resource efficiency space. While at the University, she will be working on a new Green Futures Accelerator Programme, providing mentoring and expert advice to research staff and students involved in developing solutions to key sustainability challenges.

Susannah is also an advocate for female entrepreneurs and will be championing diversity in Entrepreneurship with the Environment and Sustainability Institute and SETsquared teams.

Since visiting Streatham Campus in May, Susannah's next stop with be the ESI, Penryn, on 15 June. Here, there will be an open forum meet and greet session from 12 to 2pm (sandwiches included). If you'd like to meet Susannah, please email Andre Koch (A.Koch@exeter.ac.uk)
