Exeter Brain is a network of researchers at the University of Exeter with an interest in any aspect of the brain and its role in health and disease. This event is an opportunity to meet people with similar research interests and find out how to be involved in this research network.

Anyone is invited to attend this workshop. This event is especially suited to researchers, industry professionals, and people with an interest in brain research.

Workshop aims:

  • Network with people with similar research interests
  • Find out about the newly formed Exeter Brain research network
  • Find out how to get involved with Exeter Brain
  • Learn how Exeter Brain is evolving and growing, and their plans for the future

Programme

This one-day event will take place at Sandy Park in Exeter. Lunch and dinner will be provided as will transport to and from the venue from Streatham, St Luke's and Penryn campus (depending on demand).

The brief programme for the event is as follows (this may be subject to change):

10:00: Arrival & welcome at Sandy Park Conference Centre (Estuary Suite) with refreshments & networking
10:30: Opening Address
11:00: Flash Talks
12:00: Lunch
13:30: Flash Talks
14:30: Refreshment Break
15:00: Discussions about Exeter Brain Network
16:45: Closing remarks

17:00: Drinks
18:00: Dinner at Sandy Park

23:00: Return coaches depart
