Santander UK plc is one Britain's leading personal financial services companies and one of the largest providers of mortgages and savings in the UK.

Ms Botín has a long track record in the financial industry. After eight years in corporate and investment banking at JP Morgan in New York, she joined Banco Santander in 1988 where she worked on the Group’s international expansion, specifically focussing on Latin America and building the bank’s corporate, asset management and treasury services.
