Kevin

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

I enjoyed that the programme was flexible in terms of modules and schedule. It allowed me time and space to explore other experiences outside of my degree. The biggest highlight was that I got to meet lifelong friends, many of whom I am still in touch with.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

I enjoyed the campus lifestyle where I got to bump into friends on a daily basis across campus. I love how the city is only a stones throw away from the campus.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

Exeter provides tons of opportunities to be involved on campus whether as part of a society, sports club, faculty programmes or even casual job vacancies. These opportunities are invaluable for young students to build up the necessary skills before going into work life.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

The ability to be open-minded, curious and flexible have been the most useful skills in my career.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Not to be afraid to be out of your comfort zone. Be prepared to dabble in multiple industries and roles.

What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

Founded 5 companies in legal services, foodtech, furniture retail, management consulting, fund management. Currently operating multiple ventures across Malaysia and Singapore.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I chose my career path because I wanted to be exposed to a range of different industries. What I most enjoy about my work is the flexibility and working with exceptionally talented and ambitious people.

What are your plans for the future?

To continue working on my current ventures. I am also actively looking for interesting projects and a team to build Malaysia's next unicorn.
