Module description

This module aligns to the second method of end point assessment (EPA) and involves the production of a management research report together with a formal presentation.  Students will develop a business report which demonstrates an element of substantial organisational benefit connected with a specific aspect of HRM.  In doing this students will demonstrate the practical application of behaviours, skills, and knowledge.  The management research report could be based on any of the following:

  • The need to review and agree a change plan to improve a people solution within the workplace
  • The continuous improvement review of a current process, service or product to ensure it is still fit for purpose and meets the current needs of the business
  • The planning and design of a project that has strategic relevance and the potential to add value to the organisation

The list above is non-exhaustive, but the end point assessment organisation will sign off project proposals to confirm the suitability of the proposed management research report.
