Module description
This module will provide the underpinning theory to enable you to reflect on and develop your leadership skills. You will reflect on your leadership role and the role of leaders generally within technology-based organisations. You will consider the role of leaders as change agents and how you can lead change and teams against the backdrop of your organisation's strategic direction.
You will also have the opportunity to consider technology related market trends and research by collecting competitive intelligence. This research will be vital when you lead on road mapping new technology related concepts and approaches relevant to your role, in your organisation.
Pre-requisite modules: None
This module is a part of MSc Digital and Technology Solutions ((Integrated Degree Apprenticeship)programme. It cannot be taken as an elective by students on other programmes.

Module aims - intentions of the module
On completion of this module, you will be able to lead yourself and others in the pursuit of technology change led culture and high performance aligned with organisational goals. This includes building skills in self-reflection and personal development as well as knowledge of how to develop innovative technological strategies. You will learn to shape and analyse technology-based organisations in complex social and political environments. You will build personal skills for inspiring and motivating others along with those for building relationships with clients.
