Module description

This module allows you to craft a culminating independent creative project centred on your planned future professional career with, for, or in relation to real-world audiences. With support from your supervisor and, optionally, with input from an industry mentor, you will plan and deliver an original coherent creative output. This output may be a further refining and development of your craft as a director, performer, writer, facilitator or work in other creative roles, and the outputs of the project may be structured as an event, a series of workshops/ demonstrations/ micro-projects and art experiments that you share with select audiences. You may work with partner arts organisations, or in cultural delivery for community, schools or other audiences. You will be assessed on the qualities of your research, preparation, critical, ethical reflection on your process and output through 1) an individual process-into-performance evaluation of your creative practice development and culminating project and  2) on your evaluation of your process, through a reflexive portfolio.
