Module description

During this module you will explore your agency as a performer working with different kinds of screens. You will explore the development of presentational and performing personas, explore experimental artistic examples of hybrid intermedial work for example, William Kentridge, Katie Mitchell. You will examine different modes of making, writing and performance composition available to the screen actor as artist. Working in small teams, you will acquire basic skills with equipment behind the screen, and in editing through a series of small-scale experiments. Over the course of the module you will develop a creative made outcome, solo or group, and you will be assessed by a contextualised presentation of a creative made outcome (no more than 30 minutes) (100%)
