Module description

This module looks at the workplace as a social system and introduces notions of inclusivity, marginalisation, systemic leadership, and effective communication with key stakeholders. National and international frameworks defining inclusivity and equality will be reviewed as well as how they are practically translated into workplace structures and programme and project design. Students will be introduced to systemic theories of leadership and team communication. Similarly, communication with stakeholders (internal and external to the organisation) will be covered. This includes translating systems thinking concepts in a non-expert language, identifying and managing potential conflicts.

Module aims - intentions of the module
