Module description
For this module, you will produce a piece of independent research on a topic in Theology or a related area (as determined by your specific MA programme), and present the findings of research in an extended piece of analytic writing in academic prose. Although you will work for the most part independently, each dissertation is supervised by a member of staff. Your supervisor will support you with discussions about the topic proposed and the methods of investigation as well as guidance on the planned structure of topics and argument. Your supervisor will also read and comment on a first draft and make recommendations about the direction of research, argument and style.
