Overview:
I am a Professor at the University of Exeter Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, and a Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute. My research aims to enhance the timely detection of dementia, with a focus on developing strategies for primary and secondary prevention using machine learning. I sit on Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Grant Review Board and their Clinical Policy Advisory Panel. I am also the Clinical Theme Lead for the Exeter Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and the Alan Turing Institute Clinical Lead for the University of Exeter.
