Overview:
I am the Pro–Vice–Chancellor and Executive Dean of the College of Humanities and Professor of Twentieth–Century and American Literature. My most recent articles include “Gwendolyn Brooks and the Legacies of Architectural Modernity” in a special issue of the journal, Humanities, “Elizabeth Bishop’s Pink” in the Review of English Studies and “Robert Lowell’s Architectural Aesthetic” in Bishop–Lowell Studies. My latest book is Modern American Poetry and the Architectural Imagination: The Harmony of Forms is forthcoming with OUP.
