All services in the Chapels are open to everyone, including the general public. You are very welcome to participate, or to simply come and listen, and you don't need to be a member of University staff or a student to do so.
We welcome people of all faiths and worldviews, regardless of background, denomination or tradition.

In addition to the services below, there will also be a special service of Choral Evensong for All Souls' Day, at 5pm on Wednesday 1st November, and on Wednesday 15th November there will be a service of Ukrainian Evensong at the same time of 5pm.

Remembrance Sunday
The University of Exeter's Act of Remembrance
Mary Harris Memorial Chapel, Streatham Campus, Exeter
7.00pm - 8.00pm
Led by the Rev'd Hannah Alderson
A service to remember all who have died in conflicts.
The service will include two minutes' silence, and the names of the University's Roll of Honour will be read.
Tea and coffee will be offered after the service in the Old Library, just opposite the chapel.

St Luke's Carol Service
Cross Keys, St Luke's Campus, Exeter
This service will be held in Cross Keys as St Luke's Chapel is undergoing refurbishment.

A beautiful candlelit service featuring Christmas readings, favourite carols and festive choral works performed by the Chapel Choir.
The service will be followed by mulled wine and mince pies for all who are able to stay.

Alumni Carol Service

The annual Exeter Alumni carol service is now a popular part of the Christmas calendar and draws alumni from all generations. Please join us to celebrate the festive season with a traditional carol service followed by mulled wine and mince pies.
The service is free to attend, and there will be a retiring collection in support of the Chapel Choir.
Joining the choir
Michael Graham, the University's Director of Chapel Music, will be leading the Chapel Choir and is looking for alumni to join in with the choir. Please email alumni@exeter.ac.uk if you are interested. There will be a short rehearsal before the carol service begins, starting at 5.10pm.
