Education and training

Postgraduate education and training

We have a large number of students learning how to use immersive technology tools and techniques. These include those developing skills in software development (e.g., programming and coding); creative design; data analytics/modelling; and general hardware capabilities (e.g., the operation of different XR headsets and integration with external devices). Here, students are building key competencies and methodologies that can not only be incorporated into their research studies, but also in future career opportunities and industry collaborations.

Facilities and equipment

There are a wide range of available facilities and technologies that are distributed through our network, such as:

  • Virtual Reality headsets
  • Augmented Reality glasses
  • Motion capture systems
  • Eye tracking equipment
  • Physiological data assessment tools
  • Immersive laboratory spaces
  • VSim
