Ocean, Human Health and Well-being
Human health and wellbeing are closely interconnected with the “health” of our seas and ocean - a relationship which is under mounting strain as rapidly growing populations, climate and other environmental change apply increasing pressure on coastal and marine resources and locations.
In efforts to deliver a better understanding of local and global marine environment and human health interactions, we are helping to lead a coordinated, transnational and interdisciplinary research approach in this emerging field.
