Anglican Chaplain (Lay Minister)
Elly grew up in a tiny village just outside Bath. Having studied Math and Psychology at Reading University, she went on to complete an MSc in Ergonomics at Loughborough University.
In 2003, Elly settled with her husband in Devon, working at Plymouth University as an Assessor for the Disabled Students Allowance, before stopping to raise a family. In the meantime, she has volunteered in a number of organisations, including local sight loss charity Devon in Sight.
After completing her training, Elly was licensed as Lay Minister (Lay Reader), within the Church of England, to the University Chaplaincy in Autumn 2020.
