Course content
The MSc Sustainable Business: Environment is a unique programme dealing with Business as viewed through an environment and sustainability lens. We go beyond traditional concepts of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to enable business strategies that make a positive contribution to the environment and society.
You will explore environment and sustainability topics and their importance to/impact on business. Compulsory modules will expose you to topics such as environmental governance, biomimicry and circular economy design principles, ecosystems and community resilience. The Major Project puts your learning into practice as you develop your own approaches for achieving United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The array of optional modules enable you to tailor your programme to your interests and career ambitions.

The programme is divided into units of study called modules which are assigned a number of 'credits'. The credit rating of a module is proportional to the total workload, with 1 credit being nominally equivalent to 10 hours of work.

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme
We are pleased to announce that we will be offering scholarships for this programme as part of The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme. The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme is a joint initiative between the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and UK universities. The scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at candidates from eligible low and middle income Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study a Masters programme in the UK.
The scholarships cover full tuition fees, living costs, airfares and allowances.
