We have three exciting events on Streatham campus celebrating Diwali this year.
Annakot Darshan, New Years Worship
- When? Wednesday 14th November, 12noon
- Where? Forum Seminar Room 2
All are welcome to join our Hindu Chaplain, Ravi Nathwani, in the offering of a mountain of food to celebrate New Year. Gowardhan Puja.
Exeter Asian Society, the University of Exeter and the Students Guild invites you to come and celebrate the Festival of Lights
- When? Saturday 17 November, 2.30 - 7pm
- Where? All events held in Cornwall House, Streatham Campus unless otherwise stated

| 3.00 - 5.30pm | Explore the regions of India with the Asian Society Punjab: lassi, market stall, Kabadi, arm wrestling, storytelling South India: face painting, dance workshops Rajistan and Gujarat: puppet shows, singing, market stall, paint a diya Bollywood: photographs, show off your bollywood acting, paan, dance workshop Kashmir: henna tattoos, costumes, kashmir pink tea There will be Indian food delicacies available from each of the regions to purchase and try. |
| 5.45pm | Dance performance from our talented Asian Society troupe. |
| 6.00pm | Dhol drumming performance. Come and hear the professionals play. You won't be able to resist their beat. |
| 6.30pm | Procession to the fireworks. Fireworks will be viewed from the rear of the XFI building |
Parking
Campus parking is free on Saturday. Please follow signs for Car Parks A and B and walk to Cornwall House.

Families
This event has been designed with students and families in mind and all are welcome. Please note, however, that there is no creche facility available and parents are responsible for their children whilst attending the event.
